What is your question?
1) No fluid leaks 2) Replaced , bled master cylinder 3) bled system twice 3) Hoses, lines, pads - OK 4) Engine has good vacuum and idle 5) Checked rear brake adjusters - OK 6) Booster checks out OK with pedal tests Automatic, no ABS, no hill holder. Don't know what else to do. Everything seems OK but pedal still goes to floor. ==== UPDATE 1: Had to put this project aside for awhile. I wasn't getting anywhere. Came back to work on it and when I tried to move the vehicle, it was stuck. I jiggled the e-bake a few times and heard a "klunk" and then the car moved. Braking was then better, but still not 100%. So I rechecked everything. Rechecked all pistons, calipers discs, drums pads and shoes. No problems found. Everything within spec (not new). No leaks, all lines look ok. Rechecked adjusters-ok. Bled the Master cylinder and lines (multiple times). No change. Braking is back to where I started :( ...Low brake pedal, wheels can't lock up. thoughts ?
What makes this problem better or worse?
No change from repairs made so far
How long has your 1990 Subaru Loyale had this problem?
Months... Pedal has been slowly getting worse - now virtually no brakes

1 - **Air still trapped in hydraulic system** .. 2 - Brake caliper(s) frozen in position due to improper mounting or corrosion - (calipers must be free to slide as brakes are applied)
I've had bad Master Cyinders right off the shelf that leak internally. You also may want to try using a pressure bleeder rather than manually doing it.
Vacuum brake booster can not cause excessive brake pedal travel !
It will take *SEVERAL* attempts to purge all air from system - continue bleeding. Dismount calipers - throughly inspect and clean ‘ALL’ caliper related mounting hardware.
When any of the calipers become locked into position due to corroded mounting bolts / hardware - it WILL result in excessive caliper piston travel which in turn results in low brake pedal .. This tends to get worse over time as brake pads wear.. Note: The master cylinder should have been properly bench bled prior to installation. *Hands-on* help from qualified personnel may br required. Good luck!
