Transmission oil

What is your question?

Long story short, pulled the wrong plug to change the oil in my 2013 Legacy so now trying get all the transmission oil back in. Subaru mechanics say we’ve done everything they would do (leveled, oil up to temp, etc..) but there is still over 2 quarts that will NOT go back in. Also talked with an import transmission specialist who also doesn’t have a clue. Help!
