Is there anyone in the Denver CO area who can help?

Hi Patrick, Thanks for your response. There's an Auto Zone, which is basically across the street from my residence, and I paid them a visit, yesterday. When I viewed the "clutch" section, in the "master manual" ("Chilton's???) for the year, make and model of my vehicle, it looked like a fairly complicated job, which would require a fair amount of time! Thank you for the info about the length of time it will require in terms of labor! While at the store, I got a quote on a clutch kit for the year, make and model of my vehicle, which was $159.99 ($172 plus change w/tax), new, and w/lifetime warranty. BTW, my vehicle is AWD, not 4WD. Perhaps the prices are higher in your area (I'm in Denver, CO). Nonetheless, I really appreciate the fact I've received some good info from knowledgeable mechanics! I don't have a lot of money, I'm not mechanically inclined, but I am reasonably intelligent and willing to learn. I figure the more info one has, the better off he/she will be. Hopefully, it will decrease the likelihood of being "milked" via unnecessary repairs/replacements, "padded" labor costs, being charged marked-up prices for parts! Unfortunately, it's happened to me TOO often in the past. It S**KS when people take advantage of others in that manner, esp. if one is on an EXCRUCIATINGLY tight budget. Those who are guilty of this practice should be arrested and jailed for fraud and theft, because that's what it is!
