Can I put a 1992 2.2 in a 1997 2.5 Legacy? Both are non turbo. Do I need to swap harness or flexplate or trans,or is this even a swap that can be done? Thanks

I could not see this being possible. Even just form an electrical point of view and emission point of view, one car is OBD1 standards and the other is OBD2 standards. The displacement is different, you would be giving away 500cc.
