What is your question?
My 95 Subaru makes a small clunking noise when I shift gears. Seems to run great once in the gear but as I put it into gear is when you hear the clunck. Runs great on the highway. Its just when I change gears...Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Sounds like there is slack in the drivetrain. This could come from u-joints, play in the transmission, differential. There are many places a clunk when changing gears could come from. I would start by inspecting u-joints and the transmission mount. Alex
Hello, This may just be a motor or transmission mount. When they get worn out, pressing the clutch and letting go of the gas releases pressure on them, so when you hit the gas again and let the clutch out, you hear them clunk. See how moch movement you have in your engine when you put it in 1st gear with the parking brake on, and let the clutch out just enough to where you hear it engaging.
