at 68-75mph a lot of shaking going on. Checked tires, pressure and ok. Whats up?

What are we considering a noise? Maybe a noise like, something stuck in the spoke of a wheel... somewhat, sort of. I have never heard the term inner tripod wear. What is it's function? I thought there is only one main drive shaft. So if you don't mind, I think I need the quick 1,2 so I don't get the shaft when I take it in for repairs. :-)

AWD, All wheel drive? Inner tripod is simular to universial joint, it usually will cause the vehicle to shake but when accelerating, let off gas and shake stops, step on gas again shake again! Occurs at higher speeds, usually! If AWD there is a driveshaft going to the rear of the car that should be checked, rear also has axle shafts IF AWD! Then the normal stuff like front end, steering and suspension parts, tire balance, tire out of round ect. have all tires checked as well. May not be any of this stuff but at least you may have an idea of some things it could be.
