What is your question?
Had my brakes done at a tire place. After they were done, transmission warning light as well as several other indicator lights have stayed on. Took the vehicle back to the tire place and they said it could be a wiring issue. No lights were on until AFTER they did the brakes. In addition, the transmission feels like it's slipping a little bit----again, only AFTER they installed the brakes. Then took the car to the dealer who is running a diagnostic on the vehicle. Can replacing the brakes damage the transmission in any way? Can replacing the brakes cause the other indicator lights to come on for some reason? Should have had the brakes done by the dealer or at least not a tire store.

Well, a "tire store" can be just fine, dependent on the skill level and experience of the technicians working there. That said, it's difficult for me to determine how a transmission warning light would have anything to do with a routine replacement of brake components. However, testing done by the dealership should yield answers -- best to wait and see how that unfolds before passing any judgement.
Routine replacement of brake pads is not rocket science - furthermore IF this issue had been the result of improper installation procedures - you would have noticed these warning lights BEFORE leaving the facility that did the install - - did you? As stated - the dealer should be able to determine the actual failure. Many times other problems occur shortly after having a vehicle serviced that is not at all related to the service performed just prior to this new problem - - and as many times the customers think it has got to be something related to the previous work that was just completed.. Good luck with it!
