Thumping noise in right front wheel area for new subaru ascent: rough road sound

What is your question?

On a slightly rough road going straight or turning, hear thump sound on right side. Could this new car have a bad shock? We don't hear thump sound on smooth roads. This is a new car with only 2000 miles. Sometimes sound happens when braking, but road conditions seem to make this noise. We hear it going straight, turning, or coming to a stop on uneven surface road on right side of front wheel area. This is a 2019 Subaru Ascent.
