What is your question?
The vehicle is a 2015 Subaru Forrester and has just been given a type "A" oil change servicing. The add fuel indicator lamp was not on. It showed two bars so I stopped to put $10 gas in the car. When I left the service station the fuel indicator did not change past the two bars but the add fuel light came on so I stopped again and added another $10. This time the fuel indicator showed me I had added fuel but the add fuel indicator did not go off. What's up?

Hello, please ensure that you have turned the ignition / key to the off position when filling the fuel, otherwise concerns may be present. Also, with such a small amount of fuel added, it can take some time for the proper fuel level and computer interpretation of that fuel level to become accurate. Realize that if you know you put $10 in, you have maybe 2-3 gallons of gas that will give you maybe 40-60 miles, and you can calculate that for yourself in the absence of the vehicle electronics catching up right away.
I do not see any correlation between the “oil change servicing†and the low fuel light turning on .. However the light certainly should have turned off after adding $20.00 fuel to tank .. This will require *hands-on* testing by qualified personnel - which in part will include testing using a professional quality scan tool to determine what has failed..
