What is your question?
2014 Subaru Forester 2.0 XT - Subaru Forester CV Axle / Shaft Assembly Replacement needed. Local car mechanic is great for actual repairs but bad communicator. His usual supplier is stringing him along, CV Axle / Shaft Assembly Replacement part is coming one of these days?/weeks?/years? Says total cost is US Dollar $450. Is it OK to drive my damaged right CV Axle, could it damage other parts? Mechanic said fine to drive until he gets part. I'm no mechanic at all, I came in as there was noise when making many right-handed turns. Thanks
What makes this problem better or worse?
Not every right turn, but the sharper turn more likely to occur. Of course, low speed as these are 90 degree turns.
How long has your 2014 Subaru Forester had this problem?
A month but don't drive every day

Firstly the axle isn’t BROKEN - the constant velocity joint has lost it’s lubrication and is clicking / rattling when turning.. Continued driving until repairs can be completed shouldn’t hurt anything .. However it should be kept to a minimum - no joy rides / unnecessary trips.
Constant velocity joins IS part of the axle assembly. I will add this is a bit premature for a 2014 year model but - stuff happens
