Are subaru premature wheel hub failures common?

What is your question?

I also hear I should buy wheel hub from subaru only because after market hubs are not working correctly with sensors. Has anyone had luck with any particular aftermarket brand since dealer pricing for hub is absurd.

TIMKEN brand bearings - as good as it gets!

There really is no “premature” failure period for a bearing - of course the vehicle is pert near 6 years old now .. Mileage will vary. Good luck!
