What is your question?
I have had this car a gift from my dad from a car max lot that says they do a 250 point check the first week I had it the check engine light and cruise kept coming on, then all the sudden over heating started and ive been dealing with that for a couple of years now, we have literally done head gasgets radiator twice thermostat twice now, and I did in the middle of this my 100k check up with new water pump belts etc, EVERYTHING sensor, fan, is there anything you know of where a recall on anything like this is out there, im at wits end, I just had it towed into shop as I tried to run down the big bear mountain road and sure enough over heated, im nuts over this whats going on and why cant even mechanics figure this one out,? not to mention the paint cover up ive found here and there as I go thru time, whats that 250 check list they do because they sure missed mine, , thanks for your expertise in this, only has 103k miles now,

Mystery overheating problems with Subaru is most commonly the result of failed cylinder head / gasket issues. https://repairpal.com/cooling-system-problems-cause-head-gasket-failure-125 This is an inherent problem with these vehicles.
Regardless of all the problems - *some* people just LOVE their Subaru’s...
