Changed front cv axles on my 2000 Subaru Forester and now it won't start

I didn't do anything electrical, just changed cv axles. It was running great up until they were changed.

Well you didn't mean to do anything electrical .. However IF the axle shaft came in contact with the hot cable going to the starter motor with the battery connected .. You actually did do some electrical work!!

Awesome, thank you. I'll check that out now. Also, when I tried to fire it up I got a fireball come outta my air filter. I took it off and found it full of oil and gas....any ideas?
