Ac noise when a/c is on

What is your question?

I have a 2007 Saturn Vue. When I turn on my air conditioner I hear a noise. It’s still gets cool it still works but I hear this noise. When I turn the air conditioner off, the noise stops.

What makes this problem better or worse?
