just got this 03 Saturn but has no operating book. Need to locate interior light switch -- I pushed every button I can see. Also key has a hard time turning motor on and has fallen out of the ignition once already. Any ideas out there?

Call GM on the ignition lock cylinder (key) problem... May be covered under recall!... Should be able to download a free owners manual PDF... Google > 03 Saturn Vue owners manual... You need the owners manual..!!!
In case you didn't find your dash light button, it's above the radio. It's a switch that you roll your finger over to adjust to dim or brighten or turn off. Love my Vue!
