after car was stolen my drivers door lock won't unlock with the factory key. (i have to unlock threw the passengers door)could something else be broken in the door?

Does the drivers door lock cylinder on your 1997 Saturn SW1 turn with the key? If it does then a linkage may be off inside the door. If the lock cylinder will not turn then it may be damaged and require replacement.
