What is your question?
when i drive my 97 saturn sw1 at about 2000 rpms (15 mpr)it shifts with a big thunk, and again at 2000 rpms (3o mpr) it does it again. no matter when you drive it. but after 20 minutes or so of driving it shifts smoothly after 15 mpr.. but when it starts shifting smoothly ,when you get up to speeds of 45 to 60mpr it will hanyg up in high rpms when you let off the gas .if i shift to d while driving it does lower its rpms then i shift back to 4 or overdrive i also smell a hot tempture smellin coming from the car when i get home. i've checked under the hood ,and everything is fine(like i just drove it off the showroom floor.)no leaks, all fluids are full and clean, and there is not any sighns of heated trans fluid, or anything else. the car was stolen last year and it took 7 months to get it back ( i figured who ever stole it drove the holly s77t% out of the car hurting some of the drive trains parts or hurt a sensor is bad or it just might need ajusting hopefully. can someone help me with good advice that won't cost me my transmision.can't afford one of them now, i'm on ssi with a fixed income. please someone help me. thanks for reading this. answer asap. sighned jim kessel of las vegas, nv. ps: i've scanned with a ob2 scanner and code po733 i think is the one that keeps turnning on service engine light too.

P0733 indicates that the computer has detected and incorrect 3rd gear ratio. If you have that code than you have an internal transmission problem. It sounds like the shifting is faulty so I'm not surprised by the code. You could get it checked out by a transmission shop.
