Will not start sometimes, electrical works but no sound from starter.

First clean and tighten ALL connections (That means remove some) that are necessary in order to CLEAN INSIDE where the corrosion is and you can't see it. Then with voltmeter , check for battery voltage at starter solenoid while someone is turning the key to 'crank' position.
