What is your question?
I have a 1993 Saturn SC1 2 door coupe. Ever since buying the car it has died constantly overnight with the exception of a few nights. First, we thought it was the battery, but after changing it three times that wasn't it. Taken to a 4th mechanic that told us the car had a shortage in the steering column and needed a new battery and alternator. After paying for all three as suggested, the car still isn't staying charged overnight. Now the power lock doors have always stayed on when not being used meaning you can hear the power locks continuing to cycle when the button is pushed. I was told that it wasn't a major problem but I'm thinking it could be and has always been the problem.
What makes this problem better or worse?
better when driven but still dies overnight
How long has your 1993 Saturn SC1 had this problem?
a few years

I don't know why anyone would have told you the power door locks wasn't a problem - that can absolutely discharge a brsnd new battery - in a short time! Pull the fuse until repairs can be completed - see FUSES in owners manual index.
It may be helpful to google > parasitic load test - chose and watch video from resulting page.
