What is your question?
WHICH ONE HAS ALL NEW PARTS? STRAINER, FLOAT, SENSOR, HARNESS... I WANT THE BEST FOR THE CHEAPEST PRICE POSSIBLE. NOTE: THE SMELL OF GAS IS STRONGEST IN THE TRUNK AND IS GIVING ME A HEADACHE WHILE DRIVING. NO PERFORMANCE ISSUES. STARTS, RUNS AND IDLES FINE! THE PROBLEM STARTED ABOUT A MONTH AGO. FIRST ONLY ON A FULL TANK, THEN 3/4, THEN 1/2 AND NOW ANY AMOUNT OF GAS IN THE TANK THE GAS SMELL ONLY GETS STRONGER! BEFORE ONLY LONG DRIVES. NOW A FEW BLOCKS. BOUGHT THE CAR 8-11-16 FROM ORIGINAL OWNER "A LITTLE OLD LADY". 28 M.P.G. WHEN I LAST CHECKED.

i doubt a bad fuel pump is going to cause a fuel smell inside the car..you want cheap, maybe ebay? you want the best>> NAPA! PRODUCT LINE>Delphi Fuel Pumps>PART # DFP FG0467>>Fuel Pump Assy - (Electric In-Tank Type) - Actual MFG OEM...
I HAD 2 GO OUT ON ME IN AN 93 F150 AND I NEVER GOT THIS BAD OF A GAS SMELL! COULD IT BE A CELLUNOID? WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS?
i really don't know unless you have a hole in the top of the tank or a crack in the filler pipe, a hose or somewhere else? i have had fords forever,88 F250 5.0L,94 f150 5.8L,and never had a problem with the fuel pumps.i have a 2000 F150 4.6L now and just replaced the factory installed fuel pump last year, lasted 16 years and 303,000 miles on it when it quit, got 320,000 on it now! i don't have a good answer for you..you will just have to keep looking carefully around gas fumes.if your fuel pump is giving yo NO problems, then it ain't bad,the dealer is telling you WRONG!!! why do they think 90% that it is bad and putting off a fuel smell in the trunk and inside the car?
I REPLACED THE GAS CAP (NAPA) AND ELIMINATED ALMOST ALL OF THE RAW GAS SMELL INSIDE THE CAB. I STILL SMELL RAW GAS OUTSIDE BY THE ENGINE. WHAT'S THOSE LINES LEADING FROM THE FUEL PUMP FORWARD ON TOP OF THE TANK CALLED? HOW MUCH? THERE'S A CELLONOID ON TOP TOO. WHAT'S IT CALLED AND HOW MUCH? MY PLAN IS TO REPLACE THOSE LINES, CELLONOID, LOCKING RING, FUEL PUMP, FUEL FILTER AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAY BE THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM. WHERE CAN I VIEW AN EXPLODED DIAGRAM OF THE FUEL SYSTEM THAT LABELS THESE PARTS? AUTOZONE SHOWS THEM, BUT HAS NO NAMES ON THEM.
www.alldatadiy.com...it ain't free..you download it to your computer, good for one year,i believe it is $26.95..Autozone owns alldata... LOTS of shops use it,because it shows and tells everything...if you want it,just go to the website i listed at the first of this...
