Turn to ON/Run the ignition, do not start the engine. Fully press and release the gas pedal 3 times within five seconds. If the Change Engine Oil warning light is flashing, the computer is reset. The computer oil light will flash for up to 30 seconds or until the ignition is switch to off. If the computer light comes on again and stays on for 30 seconds at the next ignition cycle, it did not reset. You will need to reset the computer again.good luck....................your welcome
I tried that may times and it didn't reset
try this,both came out of the owners manual Important: The system must be reset after changing the oil. Turn the ignition key to the RUN position. Do not start the engine. Remove the underhood fuse block cover. Press the red oil reset button and hold for 5 seconds. Important: The system is reset when the CHANGE OIL SOON telltale lamp is flashing. The CHANGE OIL SOON telltale lamp will flash for up to 30 seconds or until the ignition is turned OFF. Turn the ignition key to OFF. Check the system reset. 5.1. Turn the ignition key to RUN. 5.2. Check to see if the CHANGE OIL SOON telltale lamp turns OFF after 30 seconds. Repeat the procedure it the CHANGE OIL SOON telltale lamp does not turn OFF.
