Yes I have checked the plugs check the gap of the plugs to him and make sure they were firing by looking at the plugs it doesn't look like it's flooding but it does look like it has been getting fuel
The Plugs weren't shiny but the electrodes were rounded off they fired good when outside of cylinder I guess that they could not be when under pressure
Going back to your original description, throttle wide open is typical 'clear-Flood' mode , in most OBDII cars , that I'm aware of.That's the angle I'm coming from. But then I just read it again and realized it 'TRIES to start, so it won't actually run. Can you verify cam timing?
I did get it to start a couple of times but would only run with the throttle was held in wide open position and had no power. I thought about the sparkplugs because I have had some that would fire when pulled but not when under compression so I changed them out no change. I pulled the valve cover and inspected the chain, the tensioner looks good chain is tight and the engine is cleaner than some that I have seen. It was running when I shut it off the night before. I changed the starter out due to bad solenoid and hasn't started yet. changed out Crank sensor, found icm shorted and changed it out and replaced the fuse going to the icm. Thanks for help looks like going to have to take to shop and have it put on diagnostic machine to see if it can find the problem
I rotated the engine to tdc and the key on pulley was at 12:00 and the diamond on the intake was at about 2:00 and the exhaust was at about 10:00 I did notice that when I rotated the engine that the chain would go slack between the cam sprockets I didn't pull the timing cover only the pulley bolt to see the keyway on crank

Were the plugs shiny/wet?

So when you looked at the chain , did you happen to set the engine to 'top-dead-center' to see if the marks were lined up?
