fan keeps running for a few minutes when car is turned off

What is your question?

when I turn off the car it sounds like a fan keeps running for a few minutes. this is the first I have noticed this since I bought the car in November. we have had some hot weather and have used ac so not sure if it's related to that. although I just ran it today and it did it again for about 30 seconds when I came home - no ac run.

What makes this problem better or worse?
