Better profits for the manufacturers. Got 403,657 (tonight) , on my Camry , NEVER seen synthetic or anything other than Pennzoil (first 195,000 miles) and the cheapest shit I could find since then. Main thing to me is using the Toyota FACTORY oil filter (Delco for you I guess) and the occassional quart of Marvel Mystery Oil. Go to youtube and type in 'bad camry' , last I checked it's about 9th down the list.
