Service indicator stuck on “checking” screen

What is your question?

I have a 2004 linear 9-3 Saab and the service indicator screen on the dash of the car says checking.. when I turn the car on but the computer never loads anything up. It’s stuck on checking and won’t allow me to customize, see the time, or any alerts.
