What is your question?
My saab 9-3 ss vector has a problem with the audio system. It can without suddenly start to play/scream very loud. It has happened by using the turn signal switch. It has also happened without using the turn signal switch. It started a few months ago. First i removed an additional thing (Nokia) to talk handfree mobilephone. Because at that time the screaming came after talking mobilephone in car, but not using the Nokia hand free system. After removing the Nokia system, the screaming disappeared. But now it has started Again. If I turn on the radio, it will may seem to Work as normal, but it can suddenly start to "scream/play loud" very badly. When it happens, I switch off the radio, but it can keep on screaming. I take out the ignition key. The screaming stops, but still some kind of scratcing/noise comming out of the speakers. That disappears after maybe 10 minutes or so. What can it be ?
How long has your 2003 Saab 9-3 had this problem?

The first symptom started 8 months ago. First thing i noticed, was 1 or 2 sounds (like thin metal blade clicking) from the amp under the seat. That came togheter with using the turn signal switch. Then it developed to the screaming schocking loud ( i am thinking about a sound like electricity going into the system ??). One day driving car with radio on for 45 minutes. When parking the car, i wanted turn down the volume a bit before turning of the ignition. When touching the volume controle, it started screaming again. I went to a danish authorized saab garage, they removed the nokia hand free system. After that, the radio behaved very well again, but it has started again.
The Saab garage and I tried to change the amp under the seat with another amp from an other saab car. But that did not help

Suspect amplifier malfunction - really need an audio technician to test system. IF replacement is required - contact Crutchfields before purchasing any components. tel:1 844 241 7063 (They also have ‘very good’ customer service - plus technical advice)
