When I hit the brake pedal my cars rear end instantly pulls hard to the left.

That's the most likely suspect! .. Caliper piston(s) may be sticking and overheating right rear pads thus shifting brake bias to the left rear... Also possible the R.R. caliper just isn't applying same amount of pressure on the pads... Either way, R.R. isn't "functioning properly" ..
