2008 Pontiac Vibe What causes my low-beam headlights to work only in daylight, not after dark?
What causes my low-beam headlights to work only in daylight, not after dark?
What is your question?
Since my Vibe's water pump was replaced recently, all of my lights will work during daylight, but my low-beam headlights (only) stop working once daylight fails. All other lights work properly (daytime running lights, fog lights, high-beams).

Ok... It's dark out.. You TURN ON the headlights... High beams work just fine BUT when you dim the lights, low beams do not work, no headlights when on LOW beam... is that right?
Yes, that is correct. Also, normally when I turn on the low-beam headlights, the dash lights dim. That function, too, works perfectly in daylight. As soon as it gets dark out, when I turn the lever to turn on the low-beam headlights, the headlights will not come on, nor will the dash lights dim.
Thank you, pushrod. I don't know if I am allowed to ask a second question...If so: exactly WHERE is the multi-function switch located, in a 2008 Pontiac Vibe?

Suspect failed multifunction switch.
