How do you replace the fuel filter and the fuel pump

the fuel filter is internal to the fuel pump assembly.the fuel pump assembly is located in the fuel tank.there should be an access port under the back seat to get to the assembly.you will need a special tool,called a lock ring removal tool.you can rent it at most autoparts,az,adv,orly.you NEED to have the car properly diagnosed,before throwing all these parts at it,and then still have the same PROBLEM.don't be guessing.good luck
