what does a square with lines going up and down mean it looks like a battery but

when I turn car on it beeps and shows this square that looks like a battery but is not and has lines going up and down on it what does this mean. I put in a new alternator and it still does it. Battery good also. Thank you I am afraid to drive in case I break down.

it just goes on and off at different times while driving
