how to get to trunk release when broken ?

If you have fold down rear seats (I am not sure if you do), then this would be an entry way to crawl into the cargo area.

Have mechanic manually release the latch - may not even charge you for it - or will most likely be very little charge. I don't think there is access any other way - unless both seats and the rear panel are removed... I would not go that route!
