can i install a used ecu in my car? will it run if it is from the same year make

Greg, i apprecite your answer and response. i bought the wrecked 2002 pont gp and i did install the ecu. i also had to install the map sensor along withn the computer to make it run. after i installed both as a unit it ran. thanks! jm

i have checked fuel pressure,45 psi, changed crank poss. sensor, changed ign module and coil pack. it is getting good spark from plug wires. tps checks good. it is not getting correct voltage to injectors. (I think.) shows 10 volts to injector when cranking if you check the injector wire. cannot get to the injector plug at injector to use a noid light without pulling the intake manifold. the security has been bypassed with a pro bypass module. so ecu is next in line. any info will be appreciatesd.
