What is your question?
I replaced the computer (used the same prom), Replaced IAC, Crank position sensor, replace three bad injectors, spark plugs fuel pump, fuel filter, battery , alternator, tried doing Idler relearn but it start idling eradicly the shuts down. Its starts back some times or it will crank but will not start until it let it set for a couple hours and it will start back up and run fine until about 10 min then stahls. I used all dealer parts too. Used Tech 2 and no codes. All parts were replaced within last 8 months of getting the car

When it stalls and will not start back up... Is it getting spark to the plugs at that time?
Sounds like you are throwing parts at it and guessing instead of testing. There are many possibilities what could be effecting this condition and way to many to be guessing on. If you want to get this problem diagnosed professionally, please call us , (313) 208-7752 or schedule your appointment on line at StansGarage.net. I am sure we can diagnose your problem and give you the answer you need. Larry
Ok Larry I will give you a call. I have to get back in shop. I got other vehicles that need to be fixed besides mine.
Yes it get spark. Checked at a 6 ponts at ignition coil
That eliminates the crank sensor..... Do the old GM tap test on the MAF sensor @ warm idle.... OR..unplug it to see if it starts when stalled... That's about the right year model for that kind of problem! Let us know what you find...
Mine doesnt have a MAF sensor
Well hell fire then, ain't no wonder it's not running right!!
Oh Well. Its older model. It didnt come with one. Its been running great until the last three weeks. I know its something so simple thats being overlooked
Yeah I couldn't remember exactly what year they started using MAF on this eng, sometime in the early 90's I'm sure...... Been doing it to long to recall ALL the bs!.. You just going to have to test it or get it tested when it's acting up!!.. I would have just suggested that to start with but you've already put a bunch of parts on it... The testing really should have been done before that! I don't blame anyone for trying to save a dollar by doing their own repair work but if you don't watch it'll cost more in the long run.. Good luck with it in any event! Would still like to know what is found..
Yea i put some money in to it but i cant complain to much the car was given to me. I let you know what i find. Even Some of the GM guys who used to work a the dealer are stomped here at the shop where i work
Well in that case you ain't to bad off!...Yep it's hard to find intermittents sometimes...don't matter who you are OR how long you've been doing this stuff!!! Grounds around the intake manifold have been known to give trouble and change with engine temperature... Of course that's just another guess... Check injector pulse with noid light.. View live data on scanner.. Good luck!
used Tech 2 to check used noid light too. i check for grounds. Thanks
