What is your question?
My car will shake when stopped an when trying to speed up quickly the rpm will shoot up while the mph remain low. The service engine soon light is on solid when first starting to drive but begins to blink an go solid through out a whole trip. The service engine soon light remains solid if I slowly speed up to the point I can’t make it to the speed limit in time. It is also starting to eat gas and oil like crazy but when checked by a mechanic there where no leaks besides my exhaust that I have had fixed. When I toke it to get my codes read AutoZone said my computer is not hooked up. I have no clue what else would cause this problem. Is there anything else I should fix to try and stop the problem?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It’s better when I speed up very slowly
How long has your 2000 Pontiac Grand Am had this problem?

I'm not sure what Autozone meant when they said your computer is not "hooked up". It's possible the scan tool couldn't communicate with the engine control module (ECM) or, maybe, they were not using the tool correctly. Anyhow, it sounds like you have a misfire and possibly some other concerns as well. I would get the vehicle checked as soon as possible -- a severe misfire can damage the catalytic converter. Plus, your car sounds dangerous at this point. One of the reputable shops listed on the RepairPal website (https://repairpal.com/repair-shops) should be able to diagnose the problem and get you fixed up.
Additionally - high engine rpm accompanied by low vehicle mph is indicative of a transmission malfunction - check transmission fluid level. Seek *hands-on* assistance from qualified personnel.
