Replaced ignition now car starts n dies even if giving gas.

I lost the key to car and got new ignition switch. I did the whole turn key to on for 10 min off for 10 sec and repeat. Now it will start but the anti theft light stays on now and causes car to dies within 3 seconds. What can I do?
