Okay so my security light is on car will not start I bought a new lock cylinder

I disconnected the original ignition Titus in the steering column and plugged in my new lock with key van security light is still on please help

gotta go to a local locksmith>>A/T or Manual>Cylinder Comes With Key For Cutting Template Only Will Not Start Car>Correct Resistance Key Required..take your old key with you.
