how much would it cost me to have a new transmission installed in my car?

good trusted transmission shop.call around,call your friends,call kin.see if they got good info on who and where. as far as price,i dont know.5 years ago,my 2000 f150 went out.somehow i made it to the shop.they took it out and rebuilt it,replaced it back in truck.complicated transmission on my truck,they furnished everything.$1400.00,owner was in alaska fising,i sweet talked his sister,now $1250.00,ok thanks,bye.but that was 5 years ago.

approx 1000.00 is a very labor intensive job
