just traded engines. from my Plymouth neon dohc into my dodge neon sohc engine

THANK YOU SINCE WE HAD THE BODY CRUSHED THIS ENGINE COMEOUT OF GUESS WE ARE GOING TO SEARCH OUT A BRAIN OR COMPUTER FOR THE DOHC MOTOR PS I'M NOT YELLING COMPUTER HAS A BUG AND WON'T TYPE IN LOWER CASE

Oh no! I figured you had both vehicles. Dont know if you have enough engine parts to make it work either. Good luck with it.

What other engine parts will I need? straight swap one engine and transmission for the other one. Even switched wiring harnesses just did not take the ecu off the the other car....did not relize one brain would not work both engines Still have both engines.

Sensors to start with! But the problem is all of them aint going to fit. Just change anything you can to try to make the system just like it was on your car before the swap. Again good luck with it.

ok so you are saying. that changing the ecu computer brain. (ordering a new one for the dohc motor) that we installed will not work. just wondering before I go spending this 287.00 on ebay.
