Ac works but when I move the switch passed halfway it makes a loud noise

'IF' you mean the blower fan switch (?) .. Mouse nest in fan motor blower wheel... Faster it runs the louder it gets... Remove blower motor assembly and clean .. If no foreign material found, suspect worn fan armature bushings .. Replace assembly.
