Where is the electric trunk release button on my friend's '92 Acclaim?

Is the owners manual in the glove box? Probably not.............Check on drivers door and under dash panel on drivers side and maybe in center console ? Does the car have keyless entry with a security system? The wires may be for that?

To the left of drivers seat on floor. Between door and seat on floor. Not electric but mechanical. Lift lever up and trunk lid will be released. May not pop open but can be pulled up after release. If nor cable might be broken. Good luck and be well.
