When it happened today, the car was between 1/4 and 1/8 of a tank of gas. My mom thought she wasn't even going to make it to a gas station. I did talk to a former mechanic today (I'm engaged to him) and he seems to think that maybe the fuel pump is about to go out, or the fuel filter is clogged. My parents have only had the car for not even a year yet and the problem just started within the last month or so.
