the steering wheel is hard when turning

car was working fine all of a sudden the steering got hard to turn,checked powersteering fluid and its full. also checked to see if my belt broke but its still there.

Have it checked, could be the pump or the rack-n-pinion. Is the pump fluid moving while the car is running.

Belt is still there but is it tigh and turning with engine running? Any lights on dash while engine is running, like battery or alt?
