I needed to take off a lot of overstuff to get at it. I replaced everything but now my car idles very fast. How do I adjust it? Their are tow bands that connect to a wheel that turns the car on and when I depress it, it zooms faster. How do I adjust that and turn it down?

You DO NOT adjust it!!!... IF everything was put back exactly as removed, it would be idling and running exactly like it was before you worked on it!!! Recheck your work, you have a vacuum leak (hose off somewhere) throttle body gasket may be torn or out of position etc.. It's something you haven't put back on 'right'... OR ...haven't put back on 'yet'.!!
poss left something unplugged. do you have any codes?
I got the idling fixed but it still is overheating after replacing thermostat, and 2 fan relays, and temp sensor. But fans don't seem to want to come on. I saw them work once. Any hints?
I've double checked my work and cant find anything wrong I did. But your probably right about it. Where is the throttle body gasket? The two steel bands that go to the throttle and wraparound the (wheels) one is green and one is black. Is the black one with a shorter band, supposed to move with the green? It moves only if I push it by hand.
