What is your question?
My key fob hasn't been working for awhile.I've put in @ least 4 sets of batteries and still NOT working.I've send for extra key fobs and out of ^ only one would work for about 2 hrs and it willn not stay programed. What would I have to do to get it working?I keep hearing a lock smith can do this? Is that true?Or will I have to go to the dealer?I can lock/unlock doors or trunk by hand, but I would like to use the key fob. Thanks

According to your numerous posted questions about this vehicle - over the past *13 months* .. The car seems to be just getting old and tired.. Sometimes you just have drive on and not be too concerned about the small stuff!
It ain't all that much trouble walking to the car, remove keys from pocket, put the key in the door lock and turn,BAM,there it is,unlocked !it's easy,i do it every day, plus,i have a lock on my tailgate too!. i believe you would benefit greatly from a Haynes Repair Manual,Part Number 38010..the ZONE sells this here manual for $23.99 plus tax! Or,there is a used one on ebay for $10.57 or make offer plus free shipping! this manual is based on a complete teardown and rebuild.i have 2 of them for my ole truck..keep one under the back seat and the other one on my computer desk.my manuals are used also, cause i have a used truck, but so much info in it,and SO MANY pictures..i like the pictures! see ebay item number for your manual>152326384765...good luck..
Thanks for the information buddy.I'am doing that already, but I would love to use it cause it's been more than once I've gotton wet unlocking the doors or the trunk, but as I've said I've ordered 6 BRAND NEW key fobs and out of the 6,1 worked for about 1 or 2 hours and the I had to keep reprograming it,but will see about that manual. Thanks again

on Dec 30th,2015 i kinda explained what i did on my friends 1996 olds..he had one FOB already, but he wanted another one.. i got his old one(the one he was using)and got the FCC ID number off the back of it..i did a search on ebay with that ID number and found him a used one for less than $8.00..when it came in the mail it had a brand new battery and step by step instructions with it. i open his trunk, followed the instructions, took less than 5 minutes to program the new/used one and his original one.i remember that i had to use a piece of wire to ground it in the trunk and it was very easy to program them, that was several years ago,and they are still working today!!!
That answer was for this very same vehicle and it should have worked just fine so I kinda thought this one would have been fixed by now..
yep, i thought it would be the same, and i remember it was very easy to program.i just don't see 6 brand new ones not working, unless it has something to do with a sentence that was said in a 1967 movie with Paul Newman in it? you dig?
I gotcha ya! .. I can hear it now .... That's a *COOL* movie too!
Yep,ole Luke just needed some popcorn and a beer to go with them 50 boiled eggs!!!
