I was thinking of trying to clean the sensor first but ill just replace the hub. No sense making more work for myself. Thanks for ur insight and help.
That's your best bet!.. Also check the vehicle wire connector to the sensor, have had some problems there as well.
Hey pushrod, thanks for getting back to me. What's the down side just replacing sensor? Would it be better just to replace hub bearing assy?
The replacement sensors are a tad longer than the original, why I don't know!.. I've seen this too many times.. The sensor will come in contact with the tone ring inside the bearing and will be destroyed *if not shimmed* .. You may want to compare prices for complete hub replacement as opposed to just the sensor.. You doing the work?
