Also how do you know if you need a fuel pump because i can barely pump gas only a few bucks but i know i need more. So i barely push the gas nozzle to get some in and it overflows. Plz help

For no start when wet ..Try some ignition sealant spray first .. IF no luck there .. Replace the distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and plug wires... For refueling issue .. Replace the vent valve/solenoid, on frame cross member just in front of the spare tire... Does vehicle have EVAP code(s) >> PO446 perhaps?
it sounds like your vapor control system is clogged. it can stop you from filling up. It is usually a clogged charcoal canister filter however I would need to check it to be sure. I would HIGHLY recommend against replacing any parts until both problems have been properly diagnosed. This type of trouble shooting can lead to unnecessary replacement of parts that may not fix your problem. My recommendation would be to diagnose, not guess. I am VERY familiar with this vehicle and the 4.3L Vortec engine .. I service and repair them daily for a company that has a fleet of them! .. My suggestions are based upon actual testing and what I routinely find as a fix to the symptoms you have described .. These are common problems .. It is far from guessing!
So what is the p0446? Have it doubled, and on damp mornings it won't turn over, but will start fine after 20-90 minutes later. And would it cause a misfire? Thanks
