What is your question?
2002 Oldsmobile Alero. Just bought from individual. Seems to run fine. Maybe a little vibration while sitting at redlights. Tried to get tags. Emissions showed a code p0340 camshaft sensor position circuit. This is the 2.2L. It doesn't have a camshaft. There is also no check engine light. The emissions employee said the person we bought the car from may have removed a lightbulb or put tape over it so we couldn't see it. The speedometer doesn't work properly. Seems to be around 15 miles off. Using a gps speedometer app. Hazard light will click. And sometimes the turn signals won't work. Sometimes they do. I'm not a mechanic. My husband has some experience with diy car repairs. He thought the crankshaft sensor. But is second guessing himself because the car will start every time. Please help. This is a car that we bought for our 16 year old. He just got his license and can't get tags for his car so he can't drive it.
Camshaft sensor position. Maybe not the correct terminology. But the 2.2 L engine does use it.
This car doesn’t have a camshaft position sensor. That is what I was trying to say. Sorry. Like I said, I’m not a mechanic. Not even close. Lol.
