wont start or wont crank over?cranks over no start?no crank no start?if you list engine size when asking question that would be nice.what do you mean you replaced ignition?does that mean, key cylinder?or does that mean ignition switch, electrical part?
If the security light is flashing turn the key to the on postion for about 10 minutes, or till the light goes off, then turn the key back off and it should just fire right up, this happens to me about every 12-15,000 km, I hope this helps you cause I spent about $400 CAD that didn't even need to be spent, GM and there stupid security systems, but it prolly wouldn't hurt to replace the fuel filter every 20-30,000 km, it's helped me out lots, I found this out from my Uncle who was a mechanic
mabe you can help me my car is a 2002 alero 3.2 engine size my car is turning over but wont start. how can i figure out if its something to do with the ignition or fuel pump unfortunatly i have no money to take it to a shop and its broke down in the burger king patkinglot any advice will be greatly appreciated.
first of all,i hope you have permission to leave it there.my sons broke down in bojangles one time, they gave him until the next day,or they were going to have it towed.if it cranks, but won't start, then you need to check the fuel pressure, and check for spark.
