What would cause my car to occasionally stall when stopped in traffic? So far it always restarts right away.

bad crank sensor? clogged fuel filter? fuel pump failing? is the check engine light on? suggest getting this checked by a reputable local shop before it stalls in the middle of traffic. at night. in the rain. with your kids in the back seat.
My Alero was doing this two weeks ago and it hasn't done it since I cleaned the battery connection to the under hood fuse box. Now I can't get it to stall. problem solved, fixed, cost zero.
