Blower Motor Resistor Connector $ 36.00 /ea Part Number: EC663 Product Line: NAPA Echlin Ignition Parts IMPORTANT INFO: Female Type;Gray;w/ 5 Terminals
Those darn connectors.....Hey pushrod FYI.....Just fixed 2 Aleros 2003 and 2002 with intermittent stalling even at highway speeds.....both turned out to be failing ignition switches...possible hidden recall cover-up? Hmmmm...
Yep, the resistor wire connection is where the problem starts!!!.. Thanks for the tip on the switches!!

ONE MORE TIME!!!! : Blower Motor Resistor >> **CONNECTOR** << $ 36.00 /ea Part Number: >>EC663 Product Line: NAPA Echlin Ignition Parts IMPORTANT INFO: Female Type;Gray;w/ 5 Terminals

Yep .. Hope it works out for you!
Hey there Richtom... Just wondering, did u try the connector for blower motor resistor & did that finally solve the problem? I think I might need to do that. Thank u! :)
Tried a different one still only works on high
When I bought my 2002 Alero, only worked on high also (@89,000 mi). Then after about 3,000 more miles stopped working altogether. Got a recall notice about car stalling because of ignition switching to 'run' while driving & to take other keys & keychains off, just use key by itself when driving. Got another recall about airbags. Check engine light also comes on when gas cap is loose, but if I tighten it then too much pressure on fuel line from fuel pump. Fuel lines & brake lines seem to need replaced more often than they should. 'Trac off' light never wants to shut off & problems with turn signals not working sometimes, have to turn hazards on & off to get working. I seem to have more problems with this car than all my others combined! Since it is very difficult to check tranny fluid, would the check engine light come on if it was low?
